End of part one

Hey ladies! So, it is August 15th, and I thought that I would get the ball rolling on our book club chat. I finished through chapter nine I think, whatever part one is, I finished it. So far I think the book is great! Kudos to Cortanie and Kelsey for choosing it, I really like it. What are your thoughts on the book?

I would agree. The language and the words are a little hard for me to undertand (so I hope Kelsey is doing great). Half the time I am not sure if they are made-up words or if they are words that I should know...being a college graduate. I am enjoying the book as well, even though I only started reading it on Saturday. But have have read through chapert 10.
It was a little hard for me to get into at first because I am so use to J.K. Rowlings writting and style. I was struggling to get into it in the begining, but after two chaperts I was there.
Has Cortanie even visted this blog yet or is she giggle worm and Hillarie hasn't visited? I am confused. Is Emily the only one that can post and we just comment? I also tried to post my deamon and couldn't, so help me please.

Slimmy,
I think that Hillarie is actually Giggly worm, and I am not sure why Cortanie has not visited the site yet. I will email her and remind her about it. I agree that the language is a little different, I am guessing that some of the words are actually Old English that we never use much, or I guess they could be made up too. Sort of like the elvish language in The Lord Of The Rings.
I am totally in love with the author's imagination! I really like his take on the world, it's almost like he is saying, this is how the world COULD have been like after the industrial revolution. And of course our souls would have to be visible to the outside world in the form of a daemon. I really like it!
Slimmy, I want to see your daemon, all I had to do was copy and paste all of that web coding that was sent to my email address from the website, and it showed up on my blog. I am not sure if you have to have your own blog to post stuff like that or if you can do it in a comment on someone else's blog.
I think that I am the only one who can post on the actual blog, and you guys can only comment. One solution is I could give you all my login and password so that you could post on the main blog page just like I do, but we would just have to be sure to put our name on each post so we know who is talking.
By the way I would like to be known as Bulgy...for obvious reasons :)

Hello worm people.
Kelsey and I are on chapter two, so we're going to need to play catch up. We have been very bad!!! :( Thoroughly enjoying the book, even though it only makes sense half of the time...
It is true that I am Giggle Worm and Kelsey is Wiggle Worm. Cortanie is the missing worm.
Now we can all go home.

I will lock Kelsey in her room tomorrow until she is caught up on the reading; that is, after we return from her school registration. So exciting. What to wear, what to wear...

Emi Lee, I love your nerdy daemon and I want one too. Will work on that tomorrow as well.

Oops.. I posted twice.
Gotta love to BLOG.

Point of clarification: Kelsey logged in as me once, I presume, because I did not type that response about the language, although I do agree that it does need some Clean Flix every now and then.

Slimmy, the worm from Sesame Street, right? :)
And Bulgy, like Bulgy the whale, that terrified Nick throughout his childhood and reoccurs in his adulthood dreams on those grave nights he consumes chocolate after midnight.
Got it.
